TRYING TO PUT ON A NECKLACE 

WHEN I'M IN A RUSH

I hate trying to put on a necklace when I'm in a rush. The stupid little hole is so tiny and the little clasp-thing is slippery and keeps getting loose from my fingertips and I try OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN until I realize I've been trying to put the freakin' necklace on for a YEAR but I keep thinking the next attempt will be successful but of course it's NOT, so I give up. Then I end up being late to the restaurant where I'm meeting my girlfriend and I have to make up a reason other than "I was trying to put on my necklace" because that sounds DUMB and VAIN.
